Candy making 101
Marbleizing is a simple technique that will make homemade candies look professional.
Proper Marbleizing Technique
- Melt at least two different colored candy wafers in separate bowls. Once both types of candy are melted, pour them into an additional bowl. Make sure to pour them gently in order to control how much they are blended.
- Use a skewer to very gently combine the two types of candies. (Do not over-stir because as the candies are spooned into the molds, they will go through some additional mixing.)
- Gently spoon small amounts of marbleized candy wafers into each cavity, being careful not to stir the bowl of marbleized candy wafers. Tap mold to release air bubbles. Chill 10–15 minutes or until candy pieces release easily.
